As a perfect starting point Sölden offers many different routes for slow hikes as well as challenging mountain hike tours across the Ötztaler mountains. Sölden is also the perfect place for mountain bike fans. The Bike Republic Sölden convinces with many single trails or pumptracks to practice your skills. To save energy most trails can be reached by Sölden's mountain railways.

Enjoy a ride along the Timmelsjoch Hochalpenstraße which connects the Ötztal with Italy.

The serpentine road leads over a mountain pass at altitude of 2.500 meters and promises wonderful views. Ideally suited for cabrio or motorbike rides or a possible daytrip to Merano which can be reached within 1,5 to 2 hours.
Or take a ride with the Timmelbus starting in Obergurgl and leading to the places Moos and St. Leonhard.
